HL Gideon Finlay is mostly known for archery, thrown weapons, leather working, and volunteering. He is always willing to help out wherever he can.

Background and History

After the Viking raids into Scotland, and things had started to settle down, Gideon became enamored or a beautiful Viking maiden and took her to wife. From there, he learned many of her seafaring ways and became a widely travelled merchant and craftsman. Though he dabbled in many things, he learned and traded his leatherwork around most of the known world from the northern realms, travelling to Danesland and various Viking kingdoms along the Black sea, and more southerly waters along the Iberian peninsula and into the Mediterranean sea. In his travels, he learned many skills of arms, specifically around target weapons. He learned to throw axes and knives with the Vikings, and during his trips through the Mediterranean and Constantinople, he learned new and different styles of archery than he had learned back home. Along with him sailed his beautiful Viking wife and merchant partner. Eventually, their daughter, Ardis Finlay was born, and started to accompany them in their travels.
