Maire Nic Shiobhan

Maire Nic Shiobhan was found wandering the lowlands by a band of traders known as the MacLachlan Clan. Maire was believed to be 5-7 years old at the time. She was covered in blood and dirt and had no knowledge of her family. The Chieftess of the MacLachlans, Louisa, took Maire in as her ward and saw to her training in languages, writing, and singing, and as a handmaiden/lady in waiting. Maire's real job was to gather information on rivals and report back to her Chieftess. After her Chieftess's death, Maire returned to the lowlands and worked as a Bard while she investigated her past. After several years of questioning local lairds and farmers, Maire discovered she was of the DUBH GHLASE or Douglas Clan.
