Persona

Vrederic Utgar die Wilde is the second son of a wealthy Dutch family in the shipping industry of Europe, Primarlily in the designing, building and refitting of ships of all sizes for varied clientel.

As second son and a mere employee of the company I have great lattitude to travel on the company dime and enjoy all facets of the current societies and cultures all in the pursuit of my chosen emply of making contract to purchase ships and goods from my families business and bring them to various parts of the world.

History

He has participated in the SCA from approximately 1995 to the present, Originally in the Barony of Blatha an Oir from approximately 1995 to approximately 1998 Then took up residence in the Barony of Aquaterra and has remained here since. He has run tournaments and wars, managed baronial practices and taught Sergeantry candidates.

He has served his current Barony as the Dean of Fence, The Seneschal, as a member of its Financial committee and event steward at numerous events.

Most recently he is the Rapier Champion of the Shire of Midhaven 2010 and was inducted into the Royal Company of the Sable Rose.

Interests

I am interested primarily in the furtherance of all aspects of Rapier, Costuming, and history of Rapier in the SCA, I also enjoy brewing my own mead as well as sampling the brews of others.

I am particularly fond of Garb from the Tudor or Elizabethan time periods and strive to bring the dress and style of the SCA to a higher level through making my own clothes and research.
