Sapphira of Sherwood
Sapphira of Sherwood served as the 4th Baroness of Montengarde with Baron Thorwulf Bjornsson from 29 January AS XXXI/1996 through 23 January AS XXXIII/1999. As Avacal Seneschale, she spearheaded the Avacal drive to Principality status, and learned valuable lessons about work/life/play balance (ie: being Crown Principality Seneschale of a group trying to advance to Principality in a Kingdom that has no experience with the process is not at all conducive to life balance).
Sapphira of Sherwood currently lives in Ealdormere in quiet obscurity in the Canton of Petrea Thule whose inhabitants are oft referred to as Thuligans. She is part owner of a fencing and archery studio in Mississauga that is (surprisingly enough) not SCA related in the least.
She is now known as variously as Aelfwyn the Irresponsible or Aelfwyn, not that Aelfwyn.
