In the January 1974 Crier, the location is given as “Castle Gendy” (Edward Zifran of Gendy’s home).

The January 1974 The Page added a few more details in its announcement. It mentions “The site is Gendy Castle, the home of Edward Zifran of Gendy, called (at least by himself) “The Bloody Bastard. The building is an old church, with plenty of room for fighting, sleeping, revelling, and what not. Fighters should note that they will be fighting on a sloping floor.”

Event Description From: Wilhelm von Schlüssel's History: Held in Cheney, WA, at Gendy Castle, home of Edward Zifran of Gendy. This was the first event for the Canton of Xerophil (which means Loving Dryness). Prince Frederick presided. Guillaume de Vinvert won the fighting prize.
