Suggested needed content (think of Newcomers as you write):

  • why does someone get an Award of Arms?
  • What does it mean? ("...you are charged to devise suitable and unique arms...")
  • how can I get an Award of Arms?
  • How can I get an AA for my friend?

Other thoughts

  • Court Baronies used to come with an AA; do they still?
    • This is a weird subject across the SCA. We have an answer that pertains to An Tir only at http://www.antirheralds.org/awards/OP/law.html :
      • 23. The phrase "comes with an Award of Arms" means that the award is equal in precedence to an Award of Arms. The phrase "comes with a Grant of Arms" means that the award is equal in precedence to a Grant of Arms.
      • 23a. The precedence of any award can be changed by Kingdom Law.
      • Kingdom Law overrode the AoA designation, so now Court Baronies are above AoAs, but below Grants. - Quentin Martel
