Come witness the coming of a new age.  This September we gather on the banks of the mighty Fraser River to be part of history, as it is written.  Be on hand as the great warriors of Tir Righ compete to determine who will be the rightful heir to the Storm Thrones.

Also come share your wealth of knowledge, take time to garner new information, visit with friends old and new, shop amongst the merchants or simply relax and enjoy the weekend.

Opening Court

Court of Their Highnesses Savaric and Safiye, Prince and Princess of Tir Righ Tir Righ September Coronet September 6, 2008 being AS XLIII Shire of Eisenmarche

Being the Report of the September Coronet Invocation of the Lists Court of Their Highnesses Savaric and Safiye, Prince and Princess of Tir Righ. Court held on September 6, 2008 being AS XLIII at September Coronet in the Shire of Eisenmarche.

Their Highnesses were joined in Their Court by Their Majesties Owain and Wrenn, King and Queen of An Tir, and by Their Excellencies Griffin and Caitrin, Baron and Baroness of Lions Gate.

There was a call for marshalls to assist in the Lists this day.

His Highness Savaric spoke of the Buy-A-Life Tournament for heavy fighters, with a shield donated by Thegn Ulfgar Hjartar Bani Thorvaldsson.

Lord Brynmore Raven spoke of the Buy-A-Life Tournament for archers, with prizes kindly donated by His Lordship Thorin Olafsson and His Lordship James Wolfden.

The Archery Championship Lists combatants did come before Their Highnesses, knelt and did swear to abide by the rules and conventions set before them. (Court Reporter's note: there were 15 entrants in the Archery Championship Lists).

The Coronet Tourney Lists combatants and their inspirations did come before Their Highneses. The combatants did kneel and swear to abide by the rules and conventions set before them. (Court Reporter's note: there were 35 entrants in the Coronet Tourney Lists).

Thus ended the September Coronet Invocation of the Lists Court of Their Highnesses Savaric and Safiye, Prince and Princess of Tir Righ.

Court Heralds were Viscountess Bernadette Ebhilín Árd and Master Uilliam mac Ailéne mhic Seamuis.

Evening Court

Court of Their Highnesses Savaric and Safiye, Prince and Princess of Tir Righ Tir Righ September Coronet September 6, 2008 being AS XLIII Shire of Eisenmarche

Being the Report of the Evening Court of Their Highnesses Savaric and Safiye, Prince and Princess of Tir Righ. Court held on September 6, 2008 being AS XLIII at September Coronet in the Shire of Eisenmarche.

Their Highnesses were joined in Their Court by Their Majesties Owain and Wrenn, and by Their Excellencies of Lions Gate.

His Highness Savaric asked that Viscount Kheron Azov be called forth. Explaining that Thegn Ulf Bloodfoot Fallgrson had resigned because he was leaving Tir Righ, His Highness asked Viscount Kheron if he would serve as the Heavy Champion of Tir Righ until the time came to choose again. Viscount Kheron accepted, and was duly invested.

His Highness Savaric asked who was victorious in the Coronet Lists this day. In keeping with the Ceremonial of the Principality of Tir Righ, Sir Raknar Guntharsson and Lady Chiara La Fiamma were invested as the Tanist and ban-Tanist, Heirs to the Principality of Tir Righ.

To the delight of the populace, Her Majesty tossed into the crowd an AT War t-shirt.

Thegn Ulfgar Hjartar Bani Thorvaldsson was awarded the Spear in recognition of his skill at arms this day. Vicomtesse Renee de Josselin was awarded the Lily.

Lord Richarde Touchet de la Croix gave the results of the Rapier Accolade Tourney. With 18 fighters, the Best Death and the Most Chivalrous were both awarded to Bliaud Drakkar of Lions Gate.

His Majesty reminded Lord Richarde that He had not given permission for Richarde to leave His presence.

At this time, Their Highnesses' Court was suspended for Their Majesties’ Court and resumed after Their Majesties’ Court was completed.

Tanist Raknar did pass the Shattered Spear to Arkill MacMillan of Wolfpack, speaking well of his ferocity on the field.

The Incipient Brewers' Guild of Tir Righ petitioned Their Highnesses for full guild status within Tir Righ. Her Highness asked the Brewer's Guild to prepare a charter for Their signature at November Investiture.

By the Grace of King Owain and Queen Wrenn, Their Highnesses did present Arminius Scorpius (Eisenmarche) with an Award of Arms, dated September 6, 2008 being AS XLIII.

Her Ladyship Isobel de la Roche, Minister of Arts and Sciences for the Principality of Tir Righ, having served faithfully for two years, stepped down and Mistress Katherine Moore was invested as the new minister.

Her Ladyship Finna Kettilsdottir gave the results of the Buy-A-Life Tourney which raised $387 for the Tir Righ travel fund. Sir (Lady) Rauokinn Eyverska Starradottir having raised the most money was awarded shoulders donated by Baron Mark of the White Hand. Lord Dalibor Krivoklatsky, having the most wins, received the shield donated by Thegn Ulfgar Hjartar Bani Thorvaldsson .

By the Grace of King Owain and Queen Wrenn, Their Highnesses did present Sebastian de Sandoval (Lionsdale) with an Award of Arms, dated September 6, 2008 being AS XLIII.

Viscountess Bernadette Ebhilin Ard spoke of Kingdom Bardic, September 27 and 28, hosted by the Barony of Lions Gate.

The autocrat, Her Ladyship Desiree Aurelia Chiarestella, thanked those persons who made the event possible, and spoke of the Ladies' Dutch Oven toss which would take place after court.

Their Excellencies of Lions Gate made a presentation to Their Highnesses and Their Excellencies of Tir Righ.

Dame Magdelena Kress spoke of November Investiture, hosted by the Barony of Lions Gate. Dame Elena de Maisnilwarin spoke of the University of Tir Righ at Kingdom Bardic.

Her Ladyship Algytha of Anglesy (Lions Gate), known as Her Ladyship Algae McBeighn, was called before Their Highnesses, and invested in to the Order of the Havoc.

Lord Brynmore Raven, speaking of the inspiration offered by a woman who participated in the Archery Buy-A-Life Tournament under trying circumstances, did present Allura with a set of arrows.

Their Highnesses, joined by Their Majesties, said the best part of being Prince and Princess is giving out awards and that They needed the populace's help in recommending people for awards.

Thus ended the September Coronet Evening Court of Their Highnesses Savaric and Safiye, Prince and Princess of Tir Righ.

Closing Court

Court of Their Highnesses Savaric and Safiye, Prince and Princess of Tir Righ Tir Righ September Coronet September 7, 2008 being AS XLIII Shire of Eisenmarche

Being the Report of the Closing Court of Their Highnesses Savaric and Safiye, Prince and Princess of Tir Righ. Court held on September 7, 2008 being AS XLIII at September Coronet in the Shire of Eisenmarche.

Their Highnesses were joined in Their court by Their Majesties Owain and Wrenn, Their Excellencies Raknar and Chiara, and by Their Excellencies of Lions Gate.

Queen Wrenn, joined by Princess Safiye, spoke of the tradition of welcoming those for whom this was their first event. Begun by Princess Celdae, this thanks and encourages everyone to come out, meet new people, and explore and enjoy the Society. Three young people did come forward and were warmly welcomed by Her Majesty and Her Highness.

Sir Geoffrey de Rennes and Sir Saif al Sirhan announced that Viscountess Bernadette Ebhlinn Ard was chosen for her chivalry in the Squire's Tourney. His Lordship Argyle MacMillan was victorious in the Knight's Invitational Tourney.

Monseignor Richarde Touchet gave the results of the Cadets’ Tourney. With 27 entrants in the Lists, Lord Warwick Drakkar had the most wins. There was also a Cavalier Challenge this weekend, with 11 activities and 11 participants. Travis MacRaith was the winner of the Cavalier Challenge, and was presented with a gameboard.

Arkos Mikhail Kurganovic (Lions Gate) was invested as Tir Righ’s Archery Champion.

Their Highnesses invested Lord David of Tirane (Lions Gate) as a Guardian of Tir Righ, Lord David having served as Tir Righ’s Archery Champion.

His Highness Savaric spoke of the skills of Tir Righ's archers. Having watched the finals of the Archery Championship, His Highness was truly amazed and impressed by all their skills.

Lord Brynmore Raven announced that Lady Olivia Spencer had won the handmade longbow for donating the most funds towards the Archery Buy-A-Life Tournament. First prize, a handmade 14th century leather quiver donated by His Lordship Thorin Olafsson, went to His Lordship Thomas Lackland of Appledore. Second prize, a handmade 14th century finger tab also donated by His Lordship Thorin Olafsson, went to Her Ladyship Margaret Hamilton of Stirlingshire.

Their Highnesses welcomed Zoe Galin (Lionsdale) into the Order of the Glowing Ember.

Lord Kerry Mac Geraidh Mor gave the results of the Youth Combat Tourney. First place in the Under 11 category went to Josh, with first place in the Over 11 category going to Connor. Lord Kerry also thanked those persons who made the Youth Combat Tourney possible.

Maestro Marco Odo Romeo d'Aquila, Silver Yale Herald of Tir Righ, thanked those Heralds who assisted with Court and Tourneys this event.

Their Highnesses of Tir Righ made a presentation to Their Excellencies of Tir Righ, and Her Majesty also gave a presentation to Their Excellencies of Tir Righ.

Thus ended the September Coronet Closing Court of Their Highnesses Savaric and Safiye, Prince and Princess of Tir Righ.
