So you're off to an event (in kingdom, out of kingdom, it doesn't matter) and you want to show the world that you're proud to be an An Tirian. What could be more appropriate than displaying the kingdom arms in a prominent place? Well, as it turns out, there is a much more appropriate way.

The kingdom's arms belong to the King. Displaying them means that the King is somewhere nearby. If you are not the King, it is incorrect for you to display those arms.

So what's a proud An Tirian to do? I'm glad you asked. There are several badges registered with the College of Arms specifically for the use of the populace of An Tir. Any subject of An Tir may display these badges proudly on banners, flags, clothing, dishes, furniture, etc. They belong to the people of An Tir.
