Overview Katarzyna is a 16th century Polish woman, formerly from Krakow and Kleparz, currently residing in Szamotuly. Her modern counterpart lives in the Lower Mainland of BC and has been a part of the SCA since 2019 In November 2024, Katarzyna petitioned to compete in the Lions Gate courtier trials, with Sadhbh Bheag as her mentor. Unfortunately, due to modern work commitments, she had to defer her trials to 2026. At First Contact Fayre, Katarzyna swore fealty to Viscountrix Jadwiga Radomyskowa as their apprentice Persona Scribal Katarzyna has painted 190 charters throughout her scribal career, and 17 original scrolls. She's also developed 4 classes on various scribal skills to help educate others in the scribal arts. She continues to look for opportunities to grow the scribal arts in the community.
