Saturday Night: Pride Ball and Fashion Show
Autumn War is pleased to host a Pride themed Ball. Come to the main Arena and join us in dance and revelry in all your Pride themed garb. Since you’ll already be in your best attire, enter into our FAFO Fashion Show, our panel of judges (including Her Royal Majesty Achaxe Ek Auchatae, Baroness Elizabeth Fitzwilliam of BAO, Baroness Furia Dommitia of DL, and Magistra Vittoria di Carduci) will pick the best of five categories to award. Prizes – to Ensemble Extraordinaire, a progressive pride themed viking wire necklace made by Mestari Rosa Marcella. Additional prizes include pride bracelets, pins, and veil.
To be clear, this does NOT need to be new garb / accessories. Bring what you have, we want to see it all.
Awards Categories:
- Ensemble Extraordinaire – The best overall pride outfit.
- The Thread Though Time – The outfit that is most period while still embodying the pride theme.
- Best Peacocking – The loudest and proudest garment as chosen by the judges.
- The Beyond Banners – The best representation of pride flag in a garment.
- Adornment Architect – The best accessories that are pride themed. Anyone with pride accessories can enter this category without the whole outfit being pride themed.
Judging is based on:
- Is the garment historically accurate?
- Does the entire outfit match a period?
- How well assembled is the garment?
- How colorful is the garment?
- How loud and proud is the garment?
- Does the garment represent a pride flag? If so, how accurate to the flag?
- Are there pride accessories? How much do they represent pride?
