Membership in the Order of the Jambe de Lion (French, 'arm of the lion') is a kingdom-level award which conveys a Grant of Arms. The Jambe de Lion is given for excellence in the arts and sciences. Recipients of the Jambe de Lion demonstrate a combination of skill and service; the skill to create objects or performances that are based on solid craftsmanship, and a commitment to sharing their passion and knowledge with others.
