The Order of the Mark is a Society-wide order. It is one of the five major peerages. Holders of this award are recognized for significant skills in pre-17th century ranged martial pursuits as practiced in the SCA. This includes target archery, combat archery, equestrian archery, thrown weapons and siege.

Awarded by the Crown, the order bestows a Patent of Arms and the members are titled "Master" or "Mistress" or other ethnic or linguistic variation. In addition, they are entitled to wear a badge of (Tinctureless) A set of nesting scale weights within and conjoined to a mascle fleury at the upper point. The regalia of the Order will be two white vambraces or bracers.

When the Board of Directors instituted this Order, they let each kingdom choose three premiers, and set specific dates for when the choices could be announced, and when the premiers could be first raised (so that all premiers would be of equal order of precedence).

A side effect of this is while the premiers were all "read in" on the specified day, they had elevation ceremonies that were not necessarily held on that day. They all have equal precedence, but one can't see when their elevation ceremony was held via the OP, which is unusual. So, for posterity, here are the dates of their elevation ceremonies:
