Viscounts and Viscountesses (pronounced VEYE-count(-ess)) are gentles who have ruled at least once over a principality. Also can use Viscountrix.
They are correctly addressed as "Your Excellency" and referred to in the third person as "Viscount/ess [personal name]."
As former royalty, they have a Patent of Arms and are considered Royal Peers.
Created by Prince Jerald of Galloway

From herald.poor-house.com, by Cormac Mor: "A Viscount or Viscountess may wear a coronet ornamented as they see fit, provided they do not use the strawberry leaves or embattled edges of the ranks above. Pictured is a coronet of twelve or more pearls, which is a common design for Viscomital coronets."
