Barun Alarich von Thorn
Persona: Born to a German father and a Danish mother, Alarich was sent south in the Holy Roman Empire to be educated in the Church, as his delicate health made others assume he was unsuited for the warrior's path. Doing better in warmer climes, Alarich took up the blade, eventually pursuing the life of a mercenary for many masters. During his service to the Black Prince, he was gifted with an English wife of minor estates. Alarich travels throughout Europe, seeking battle and wordfame, much to the chagrin of said wife, though she does enjoy trying the new to her cuisines.
