- Lions Gate hosts the An Tir Coronet Tournament at the North Shore Neighbourhood House. The event is attended by Their Majestis of the West, Paul and Carol. The results of the tournament are later invalidated by legal difficulties. (Anybody remember who won the tournament and what the legal difficulties were?)
- King Paul gives a lecture against using freon cans as helmets and pushes home his point by shattering a freon can with one blow. He also states that he considers women to be people too and endorses the Board decision giving women the right to fight.
