Evrard de Valogne has been involved in the SCA off and on for 15 years. He has been a proud member of Wyewood for nearly four years.
His interests include: Archery, Fletching, Heraldry, Armoring, Leatherworking, Brewing, Woodworking, Embroidery, Fighting, Marshalling, Illumination, and Garb making. Evrard serves as an inspiration to the populace of the Shire due to his eagerness to step in and help, and is known for his excellent period portrayal of mid 14th century France.
As Wyewood's Herald, Evrard is an officer of the Shire, and has been the Shire's Chief Archer as well. Formerly he was the deputy to the Herald and to the Chief Archer.
Evrard currently is an Armored Combat Marshal, a Target Archery Marshal, a Combat Archery Marshal and a Thrown Weapons Marshal, all junior authorizations. His passion for period archery is equalled by few.
