Come enjoy a fine meal at the Canton of Bearwood's Pre-Hibernation Feast, and dance the night away at the Barony of Aquaterra's Day of Dance Ball - both at the same lovely site, the Garden City Grange in Snohomish. | |||
Dinner will start at 6 pm. The Ball will follow the feast, from about 7:30 pm until closing at 11:00, and Aquaterra will also hold a dance practice starting at noon for you to learn or refresh many of the dances that will be danced at the Ball, in the same hall. | |||
For dinner reservations, you may call the Bearwood autocrat, Alexis DeMarco and send payment of $12 (adults and teens) or $8 (5-12 yrs old) by November 1st to guarantee a seat at the feast. | |||
The tentative menu is: | |||
1st remove -- Red onion Fritata, Dumplings in Duck broth, Apricot and Plum Tart with Mascarpone | |||
2nd remove -- Pork "Whales" on a bed of mashed Parsnips and Carrots, Field Greens with an Italian Dressing, Applesauce Cake with Whipped Cream | |||
3rd remove -- Sliced Duck, Broiled Vegetables, Tuscan Fruitcake | |||
Beverages -- Appe juice, Lemon/Rose water, Sakanjabin | |||
If you have an allergy, please notify the autocrat when making reservations, so that an alternative dish may be prepared. Reservations must be in to the autocrat by November 1st. | |||
For the Ball, payment of the $8 (adult & teen) or $5 (5-12 yrs old) may be made at the door, or sent with your feast payment. As the events are concurrent with a single Gate, one Non-member surcharge will suffice to attend either or both. | |||
