Madrone Baronial Banquet
Greetings, noble cousins!
The following business occured in the Madrone Baronial Banquest court of Their Royal Majesties, Wilam and Siobhan, King and Queen of An Tir. This court was held on behalf of Their Majesties, by Baron Sir Fiach CuCool Feardri Ulfredsson and Baroness Maistress Anne-Marie d'Ailleurs.
Lady Merouda Temaine, a lady in waiting to Her Majesty, Queen Siobhan, has written the following account.
Greetings unto the Populace~
It was my great pleasure to attend the Madrone Baronial Banquest this past 13th day of April. It was a very lovely and enjoyable event. During the Baronial Court, there was a brief hiatus called for a Royal Court.
Their Excellencies, Baron Fiach and Baroness Anne-Marie, did have some business to conduct for Their Royal Majesties, our valiant King Wilam and generous Queen Siobhan.
The first order of business was to call forth a person for their Award of Arms. This award was signed during the reign of Skepti and Asa in September of Anno Societatus XXXV. The beaming recipient was Lady Arianna D'Ounay. A loud cheer was heard and Lady Arianna, glowing, returned to her post as Sargeant in the retunue.
For the second order of business the herald began discussing the character of a person belonging to The Order of Carp. There was a brief history of this award, created by Her Grace, Duchess Lao, for persona development.
I was scanning the room for the candidate because I was certain that both of the two people in the room who truly qualified for this illustrious honor were already members of this Order. I was mistaken. Baron Fiach called forth his Baroness, Anne-Marie, to the great pleasure of the populace.
The Baron pulled from his pouch a most beautiful golden medallion strung with glass beads. It was a very touching and beautiful moment. The populace was encouraged to show it's extreme pleasure at this recognition of their beloved Baroness.
Thus ended the Royal Court of King Wilam and Queen Siobhan
Long live King Wilam! Long live Queen Siobhan! Long Live Baron Fiach and Baroness Anne-Marie! Three cheers for the Barony of Madrone!
And for this, the greatest kindom in the known world - An Tir! An Tir! An Tir!
