Description

An annual event held in the Barony of Dragon's Laire since AS XVII/1982. June Faire is a public demo and fund raiser, featuring heavy and rapier fighting and an A&S demo.

Activities

In the past, the Armored Champion was awarded at this event. Currently the activities all revolve around the Demo aspects of the event. There is a "June Faire Championship Tournament" (heavy) held each year as well as a wide variety of entertaining and challenging rapier scenarios. Also, archery and thrown weapons are demonstrated. Iron and wood working, pottery, the Moneyers Guild, period cooking, cheese making, weaving and a wide variety of other A&S related tents are displayed in the A&S Village. The modern public is encouraged to participate and is invited to stay for court.
