This award was instituted by Baron James Llewellyn ap Gruffydd and Baroness Tangwystl verch Glyn. It is presented at Their Excellencies' pleasure to individuals who exemplified the ideals of the combined Insula Magna branches on the island. The insignia is a blue arm sash with red fringe and a painted signal beacon.
