=Notes about Tournament of Armies=

Each year, a number of Warlords build a force of heavy fighters, rapier fighers and archers using a system of 'points'. As the Tournament of Armies progresses, points can be earned for the Warlord by his troops as well as A&S Competitions and volunteer service. These points may then be used to buy additional troops for upcoming battles. Over the course of the weekend, the victories armies absorb the defeated warbands using these points until only two Warlords remain for the finale.

Tournament of Armies is an event hosted by the Barony of Lions Gate during the August long weekend. It is different from many other style of tournament, since it is not a contest of one fighter and another, but rather whole armies that a warlord can bring to bear against rival warbands.
