The Bards of KeyPoynt aboard the Lady Washington

The Bards of KeyPoynt are an Anacortes, Washington based group of musicians who write and perform Celtic-inspired medieval songs. They tour Washington state, and sometimes even British Columbia, Canada, playing their songs for any and all who will listen, with a special interest in welcoming campfires at SCA events.

The Bards were recently declared the winners of Blackwater's Bardic Competition at Autumn War 2008, and have become one of the wandering entertainers at local events. They have performed their song "Beverly Anne" a number of places including the 2008 and 2009 Relay for Life in Anacortes, Skagit Valley College, as well as aboard the Lady Washington during her stay in Coupeville in 2008. Most recently, they performed to a crowd of 200+ for a local food bank fundraiser, receiving a thunderous standing ovation and shouts of "Encore!" The Bards were only too happy to oblige. Their songs "Beverly Anne" and "Where'd You Go?" can be heard on local Anacortes radio station, KWLE 1340 AM.

The Bards of KeyPoynt mainly consists of bards who are a part of *gasp* the Towne of KeyPoynt! Meaning Kenneniah and his lady-wife, Amnara and occasionally a flautist by the name of Reyus who doesn't seem to mind putting up with them in order to make some fantastic music. If you don't speak SCA, you may call them Nathan, Amanda, and Scott.

The Bards of KeyPoynt became the Bardic Champions of Midhaven Shire in June of 2008 and again in July 2010, shortly after the release of their second album, "Once a Bard...".
