Revocation and Denial of Membership refers to an action of the Board of Directors of the S.C.A. which strips membership in the Society from a person and denies them future membership. Generally used only in extreme cases; occurances are rare. An R&D does not remove a person's awards or titles, but the BoD can choose to take that next step.

Also referred to as "R-and-D" or written as "R&D".

The definition and conditions under which R&D may be applied are found in the Governing Documents/Organizational Handbook of the SCA (PDF) under "The Corporate Policies of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.", Section II, paragraph D.
