This gentleman's name has been added to the Scroll of Honor. A tassel was added during the Riderless_Horse_Ceremony in his name at September Crown Tournament XLIII/2008.
I did not know Lord Olav, but felt that he should have something here on his wiki. I hope others who knew him better will add more. For now, here is his MYSPACE page. He certainly was someone I would have enjoyed knowing. [1]

Lance McBride known to many in the SCA as Olav Durinson was murdered on July 26, 2008. Investigators are still seeking information to aid them in catching his killer.
A memorial fund has been set up to assist the family. If anyone wishes to make a donation simply go into any USBank and tell them you wish to make a donation to the "Lance McBride Memorial Fund".
