I stumbled across the SCA in Appledore (Kelowna) in 1998, my first event was Clinton War. I spent some time at local events, took a stab at the Chatelaine position, learned to fence and hung out with my friends. The Clinton War event in 1999 introduced me more favorably to Steinn Vikingsson and I moved to Avacal in January 2000.

From there I met my SCA family - Raoul and Roxanne Delaroche became my fencing family, along with William Bennett (BillyB - the bestest big little brother a girl could have!), Dietrich, Nikolai, Hamish..then Guillimin, Eira, Siobhan, Aethelhelm, Lazurus, Jasmine and assorted others came along. In there Steinn and I had a reign as Prince and Princess. I was granted admission into the Order of the White Scarf and I began building my own fencing house - an extension of Delaroche, whom I cannot image being apart from. My cadets include Thorndyke the Blue, Cinara and Mughain. Ramirez is happily ensconced as a man at arms (he's secretly afraid of his sisters, you see). As of Montengarde 12th Night (09), my newest student is MeiLan. Steinn and I had another reign in there as well. I am currently an apprentice to Mistress Katherine Atte Moore and Master Michael O'Byrne. They are likely weary and overworked! My geek is glass - all of it...flat, blown, lampworked, slumped, enamel, plique.

Delaroche and Steinnhold are pretty much melded now - it's a grand amalgamation of armoured combatants, fencers, archers, artists and service oriented people. We're a grand mix of talents and traits! You just never know when one or more of us might try to take over the world though!

I was very fortunate to be a cadet to HE Raoul Delaroche and a Gallant to HE Roxanne Delaroche.  Elevated to the OWS by the hands of TRMs Thorin and Daegmar (Billy B was also elevated at this event! He's the bestest big little brother a girl could have). During my time in the SCA there has been much travel, many friends made, many adventures had - I'm crossing my fingers that the journey continues.

Offices: Chatelaine of Appledore (for about 2 minutes). A&S Officer Avacal. Deputy Exchequer Avacal.

Bio: I moved to Montegarde in January 2000 and married HE Steinn Vikingsson, KSCA.

Insert much joy and frivolity!
