It pleases me to annouce that the winner of this years' Gerhard's
Rispote is Alejandro Montoya of Lionsdale
His passion for the game and skills showed him to be a worthy
recipient and  henceforth we shall be expecting great things from
him. How can you miss using Gerhard's gear?  ;)
and... The new  Rapier defender of Lions Gate is Estaban de Ferreiro.
He and Diarmuid de Rosa fought and had most wins in each for their
erics, They then lead their respective teams through a series of
regimental duels, with Eseban's team winning 3 wins over 2.
My thanks to all who participated, marshals, lists waterbearer's, and
Autocrat
Also thanks to Don Prospere, who ran Defenders in order that I might
compete.

Greetings to all,

Just a quick message of thanks to all who attended and to thank all those who worked so hard to make Baroness' Tourney such a success !!

Thank you to our MIC's, Cyneric and Lasairiona, to our Merchantocrat Genevieve, to Algea, Christine and Genevieve for lists, Rowyn, William, Aibinn, Natasha, Klaus and others for gate. Missy, Danica, Jacqueline, Kia, Miranda, Nicholas and others for waterbearing. Otto for this, that and the other thing and Adam for everything.

......So much for a quick message of thanks.......

I would also like to thank Mikhail and Edward Little for handling our blue helm tourney, it was great fun. I would like to thank Madylyne for slaving over the two wonderful stews we had for dinner, and a special thanks to Collegium for providing such wonderful music for all to enjoy.

We ran two contest at the event, one was for best picnic supper, this was judged by Lady Madylyne Sparkes and was won by HL Rose McAllistair. Our second contest was for best dressed newbie, which we split into two catagories, best dressed by themselves and best dress by someone else. This contest was judged by HL Isabelle de la Roche and Lady Mariko, our winners were Sandy and Eleanor. I would also like to give a big thanks to Cara and Donatello for arranging and running our dancing, my gosh, they never stop !!! and to the lovely gentleman James Wolfden who brought his crossbow and apples, what a brilliant demonstration and what a hit it was with the children, thank you so much.

Again my thanks to all,

Lady Arianna Freemont of the Clan MacBeighn Autocrat Baroness' Tourney

Personal Memories

(Add your personal event memories here. End them with a blank line, four dashes and another blank line. Don't forget to sign them with dash-dash-tildex3. Reminder: it's considered VERY rude to edit someone else's memories.)

Yusuf ban Joseph was knighted. Yolande Chastellain was offered a Pelican. There were two Laurels recognized -- the fellow who used to be Richard of Broadmeadow and (agh! I'm having a really bad name day! my apologies) Master Guido's lady who does fabbo weaving and dying AND who was also recognized as a White Scarf earlier in court. He who used to be known as Duke Eric (and Yusuf's knight) just happened to be visiting from Lochac. His Majesty enthusiastically reminded the gentlemen present that this is "The Most Romantic Winter Ever". --Elizabeth Braidwood 19:25, 5 Dec 2005 (EST)
