A fun little war. The site is pretty flat and shade was spotty at best, I was glad we had a new dragonwing day shade. Met up, once again, with our allies the Lost Vikings, who were armed with Long Island Iced Tea. <Shudder>

The war itself took a little time to get going, with the Avacal side waiting for the Inlands side to finish gearing up and doing some qualifications. It was small - perhaps 30 fighters -  but fun, with an interesting woods battle area. The water bearers set up a sprinkler to help with the heat, which was gratefully appreciated.

Being able to make a run to take a dip in the lake, and then use the on-site showers, was nice after the war as well. --[[User:Michelino di Gino Martini|Michelino di Gino Martini]] 20:15, 28 Sep 2006 (EDT)

It was small - perhaps 30 fighters - but fun, with an interesting woods battle area. The water bearers set up a sprinkler to help with the heat, which was gratefully appreciated.
