Created by Queen Hlutwige and King Tjorkill. The Crown chooses a recipient who, in their eyes, inspires Them and embodies the ideals of An Tir and the Society. This choice may be singularly theirs or with counsel from previous recipients.

It may be bestowed only once per reign. Recipients may place the title "Lion of An Tir" after their names, and are so styled. They are entitled to include: A lion, tail forked and nowed Sable, as a supporter in their arms, and may add to their personal banner: A stripe on dexter checky Or and Argent, to signify their estate.
