An Tir’s second Coronet Tourney

Held on 2 March 1974 near Vancouver, WA.
Prince Richard of Ravenwolf. Princess Leonore of Lynxhaven.

“Schedule and exact address not pinpointed but; fighting qualifications start at 9:00 a.m., 1st court at 12:00 a.m., with announcements and lists to follow. Contests: costume, mulled wine, & hard icing decoration. Bardic activities and dancing are to be encouraged. This tourney is an indoor event on a dirt floor - so bring a blanket and warm medievals. Hopefully the Crier will publish again before the event with more information.”1

“On March the 2nd, in the Southern Marches of Madrone, Richard of Ravenwolf triumphed over the field to become in successive ceremonies: Sir Richard of Ravenwolf and Prince Richard of An Tir. His Highness chose his lady, Leonore of Lynxhaven to be Princess and the long and peaceful reign of Sir Frederic and Lady Anne of the West Tower drew to its close. The Principality’s new fighting award - the Mucking Tall Maul - was presented to Master Geoffrey of Speraunce. Visiting dignitaries included Baron Sir Kevin Perigrynne - Earl Marshal of the Kingdom of the West, Sir William the Lucky - Seneschal of the Kingdom of the West and Sir Stephen MacEanruig.”2
