Melissa Kendal of Westmoreland was very active at 30 year celebration. she knew so many people it was hard to keep track of her or of the many people she knew. Being her lady in waiting for four years she introduced me to Princess janeltis (one of my biggest SCA honors,) to Mistress Diana Listmaker (the one who had the original party which started the whole SCA) and a number of the first people in the SCA. She kept track of the bid for 30yc, she came up with waterbearing in Antir for which we thirsty people are grateful, she always worked so hard at events and well deserved her pelican. I can think of any number of reigns on which she served including all the work she did as queen.-Corynne | Melissa Kendal of Westmoreland was very active at 30 year celebration. she knew so many people it was hard to keep track of her or of the many people she knew.
