Kira lives in Kiev, these days. She started out living in Moscow, in the shadow of St. Basil's Cathedral. Kira does a bit of time travelling, caused by her clothing preferences.  :-)

Kira used to be known by a couple other names. She started in the SCA as Brianna Riordan, then stuck with the Irish when she went to Aine ingen Domnaill. Eventually, her interest in Russia came to the forefront of her mind and she became Kira. She takes her surname from an island in SE Alaska.

She's astonished to have been honored with a few awards:

Award of Arms Mar 4 AS 35 / 2001
Golden Blossom (Blatha An Oir) Apr 7 AS 35 / 2001
Goutte de Sang Feb 2 AS 36 / 2002
Briar (Blatha An Oir) June 15 AS 37 / 2002
Seamair (Stromgard) Dec 3 AS 40 / 2005
Famulus Primarius (Stromgard) Dec 3 AS 40 / 2005

Of these, the Seamair means the most. That's not to say the others don't mean anything, but at least I feel as though I *might* have earned the Seamair. While I do not question the Crown or the Coronets, I was just doing what I do and feel a little odd about having been given the awards for that.
