Natt Sang is a Norse bardic house

Natt Sang is the name given to the band of skalds hailing from all over the northlands. During the month of June AS XXXVII (37) Torgny Vintersorg, a brutish and loud mouthed Geat, and Vargen Utsvarden, a dashing, suave, and somewhat scrawny Russ, joined forces in the Kingdom of An Tir to battle the mediocraty of drum circles. During the next several years the two hiried and enslaved numerous and varied musicians. Celts, Russ, and all manner of Vikings joined Torgny's band of skalds but few survived his tyranny. Some of the fallen include Radislav the spawner of many (Guitar), Maeven (Fiddle), Ricard (Drunk Guitar), Jorunder (Bodhran), and Vincent of Venice (Harp).

Torgny has aquired a stash of booze and trinkets in his travels fit for a very poor king. Notable benefators to his cache include His and Her Majesties Owain and Wren, Former Baron and current master of brutality Sven Redbeard and the Ormsvikings, House Ravenstead, the Township of Keypoint and their extremely un-talented bard Kenaniah, House Maeothstead, Clan Carn, and numerous others that he has looted and pillaged. And though he claims every night to despise Vodka he sees fit to end every performance with a song in its honor.


Lady Rhyslyn

Torgny's current concubine Lady Rhyslyn of Soundstream is the offspring of Lord Red Angus and Lady Solais of Soundstream. She is perhaps the groups most versatile musician, proficiantly able to play the celtic flute, the irish whistle, the celtic harp, as well as guitar, bass, and actually singing. She is also proficient at doing Torgny's laundry and washing his groups dishes. She currently acts as the houses Emmasaren and is the primary seamstress (a position she shares with the Firstamon Danyr).

Danyr Bjornson

At Torgny's right hand sits the more sensable and often the voise of reason Danyr Bjornson (The Unconvinced). His interests include baking, sewing and not having sex. He joined with Natt Sang after his sister was captured and enslaved by Torgny in AS XXXVIV. He provides both Mandolin and occasionally guitar as well as the occasional druken bellowing of "and they fight and dance 'till the morning."

Vargen Utsvarden

The often quiet and yet still obnoxious Vargen is quite the ladies man. Having never spent more than one year next to Torgny with the same woman, Vargen now spends his depraved evenings with his petite celtic concubine Amber. He provides the melody guitar and at times both the primary and backup vocals (though not simultaniously).

Gerieker Moolfson

Gerieker, or as his is not so affectionalty refered to as "Big Little Pickle," is Natt Sang's Enforcer and acts as the defender of Lady Rhyslyn. He is in fact more troll than man though no one is sure which one of his parents was green and dragged their knuckles on the floor. He wraps his sausage fingers around an 11 string guitar and beats it until it makes music. Ohh and he also enjoys poetry.

Rebecca

Rebecca is a celt who needs two chais to sit by Torgny's fire. She spends most of her times pouring vast ammounts of Torgny's booze down her gullet and bedding her favorite "Big Little Pickle." She plays viola (fat fiddle) and sings.
