RE: The Ships category, the discussion was that Ships are nautical themed households, and we have a household category. Nothing against ships, more against having different household categories (Clans, Ships, Units, Orders, etc) when they aren't functionally different. --[[User:Michelino di Gino Martini|Michelino di Gino Martini]] 22:39, 20 Apr 2007 (EDT)

===Deletion of Amanda Kendal redirect page===
Hi.  I suppose you noticed I've been busy around here lately.  Please, let me know if I've stepped on any toes, or if I could be doing things better.  Specifically, today, I was wondering about your deletion of the redirect page I created for Amanda Kendal.  Is there a policy on this wiki against redirect pages?  I have found them useful on other wiki sites.  They are especially useful for subjects that have alternative names, or whose name is commonly misspelled.  I thought it likely that someone might try to link 'Amanda Kendal', not knowing that there is already a page titled 'Amanda Kendal of Westmoreland'.  Please let me know if redirects are not part of this project and I will stop creating them.

===People Pages===
Elizabeth- sorry about the page creations.  The merit I saw in creating those pages was that they were all added to the people category, which can help more accurately reflect the number of subjects in An Tir.  Even if they haven't been on to give themselves some content, someone who knows them may be able to flesh out those pages.  I also included the MoreContent tag to help ensure that those pages are highly visible as requiring more information.  In the future, I will refrain from adding pages unless I have something to say about them.  I believe passionately in the power of the Wiki to be a very informative repository of information, and I suppose I easily go overboard trying to fill it out as much as possible. --[[User:Malkom1366|Malkom1366]] 16:24, 23 Jul 2008 (PDT)
P.S.: I've done it again; I automatically applied formatting to the commentary here on your talk page to help make it more readable.  *sigh* Sometimes I really feel OCD.

Also any suggestions on how to build my persona page with a bit more skill would also be appreciated. I am rather new to the editing and language of Wiki's in general.

Thanks again,

Marin Gorislav

Alright that makes sense and I can understand the reasoning behind it. I just never had looked in it that light before. Also I must have misread the recent changes as I thought it meant the ships I had added were deleted. Now I see that is not so.

Thanks,

Deletion of Amanda Kendal redirect page

People Pages

--Malkom1366 16:24, 23 Jul 2008 (PDT)
