The 50th Anniversary of the SCA was held from June 17 - 27, AS LI (2016) in the Barony of Sternfeld in the Middle Kingdom. (Hendricks County Fairgrounds, Danville, Indiana)


In conjunction with the anniversary, each Kingdom wrote a 10,000 word history of their kingdom, which was intended to be made available at the event on high capacity CD discs. This part of the project was not able to be completed. At the link below is the History of [[An Tir]] that was written for this project. Authored by Dame Hrefna Ulfvarinnsdottir, OP, contributors include Duchess [[Angharad Banadaspus Drakenhefd]], M'alimma [[Rowenna de Manning]], Master [[Edward the stuffy]], Viscount Edward Zifran of Gendy, and Magistra Julia Sempronia. A number of An Tirians were interviewed by the author and contributors, among them Duke [[Paul of Bellatrix]] and Viscount [[Theodulf of Borogrove]].
