​Kloe comes from the Northwest region of the Steppes where she grew up within a tribe of nomadic women. An avid archer she enjoyed the hunt, and became a fierce protector of the innocent. A warrior at heart, Kloe could not resist the trumpets of war. When she heard of mighty armies of the lands to the south battling one another she took leave of her tribe and made her way towards the Mediterranean Sea. There she fought alongside of Romans and Greeks before joining forces with the fierce warriors known as the Myrmidons, lending her skill of the bow to their prowess as warriors of the sword. As time passed she found herself feeling the call of the wild again, so Kloe took her leave of the Myrmidons and forged her way through the vast and fertile lands around the Mediterranean and Black Sea. As she journeyed east she found herself falling in love with the beauty and vibrancy of the Persian Empire. There she adopted the attire of the Persian people, and the layers of fabric that became a versatile part of her wardrobe when she traveled back to the Steppes. The Steppes, while always her home, had lost their draw and appeal, as Kloe had fallen in love with the Sea and the islands of Greece.

In Greece she found herself enjoying life on the small island of Thira. She settled down from nomadic life and built her home overlooking the south side of the sea, and the views of the islands beyond. She took up sailing to the mainland to help hunt for animals that were not readily available on the islands. She enjoyed sailing and often visited the island of Crete and studying the techniques of the Archers there, and of from the masters of science, where even as a woman she was welcome. She met a man named Telamon on Crete, who was a warrior with the unit known as the Cretan Archers. The Cretan Archers became her new warrior family. When the Cretans where called upon to wars near and far she grabbed her bow, and donned her armor, and fought at their side.
