SCA History
- My first event was Machievelli Memorial Feast IV, the first MM held on the Island. March 11, 1989... but I had come out and met many Seagirtians at every UVic clubs day from 1984 until then.
- I remember going to May Crown AS 24 with Lady Isabelle de la Roche (then Rowan ni Sionnach) and being dumped to find my own fun because she was on Meagan's retinue.
- I remember Iain Ruadh nan Madadh (now Don Iain Archibald Guthrie), setting himself on fire by backing in to a candle at a Seagirt Secret Tourney (at Camp Jubilee, Shirley, BC) and claiming the title "Hottest Man in Seagirt".
