A Gascon man-at-arms from the port city of Bayonne in the Duchy of the Aquitaine. Gerard first took the cross to fight the Moors in Spain in 1178 he has since been twice in the following years. He spends his summer months hitting the tournament circuit in Anjou, Poitu, Normandy, and the Isle de France, where he enjoy's cracking the heads of his "prudish" northern cousins, before returning to Spain for the winter.
