The Honorable Lord Joffre passed Feb, 2011 after a long illness. Most of us knew him, not only as a highly-revered shire founder, but as a warm, generous and kind friend who was dedicated to the SCA, and promotion of archery in all of AnTir, (and Atenveldt).

True was your arrows' flight, which passed into the night. from there, your arrow is Light!
For this our horns raise, your memory never a haze, and your service be Praised!
He will be greatly missed and long remembered.
