Local recognition includes shire tokens for the Dragon's Scale, for long suffering service or arts contribution to the Shire,
the Dragon's Tear, for service as [[seneschal]], and the Seneschal's Favor, for service to the seneschal.

Dragon's Mist became a Barony on September 24th A.S. XLVI 2011.


At the January shire meeting a vote was taken of the populace for whether to pursue becoming a barony.  With a vote of 28 to 3, the motion was carried to approach the appropriate kingdom officials and request the paperwork to initiate that process.
==Coronets==


As of August, the Shire has initiated contact with the necessary officers and is collecting the packet of information required to proceed. Among the contents will need to be letters of recommendation (opinion) from peers of all kinds.
