Sable, a stag rampant within a bordure potenty argent.

It is with great sadness and a very heavy heart that I come to you to report that in the deep dark of the past night, My Lord Husband, Baron Cairbre mac Eochaid mac Fielimid mac Diarmuid, known as the SilverStag, passed beyond the bounds of this world and into the next.

He fought his demons as best he could - those inner torments that all of us face at some time. I am *not* going to say his demons won. That's not like him at all. But something happened in the darkness of the night that took him away from this world and on to the next. The specifics are not yet known, but in the end the whys do not matter.

My heart, my soul and the man I've shared the last 22 years of my life has passed Beyond the Veil and has joined The Great Hunt.

For those of you who knew him – raise a glass and share a tale or two of him here with us.

For those who didn't, if we cross paths, I will try to share a tale or two.
