Joining the SCA in 1992 under the name of Mara McCunniff, I was taken in and helped create the 4th re-creation of House Fabritzio. I first started in Glyn Dwfn (Ashland and surrounding areas, OR), while going to college.
After a few years, I changed my name to Merripan Baval Fabritzio, a Romm name meaning Beautiful Life or Beautiful Death. I was married to another member of the SCA, Petran o'Cosgraigh, formerly Peter of Briaroak, and we were together for 10 years before parting ways.
