Kara moved from [[An Tir]] to the Kingdom of the [[West]] in the summer of 2006 Gregorian, and ascended the [[Kingdom of the West|Western]] Throne to become [[Uther and Angharad|Uther's]] Queen on Epiphany, January 6, 2007. | |||
Uther again made her queen in October 2008, and became Duchess by his hand on January 3, 2009. She chose her father's coronet for her duchy ceremony, and carries on his Viking heritage. It is thought that Kara and Lao are the only pair of mother/daughter duchesses in the West. | |||

Kara, daughter of Jarl Sir Barak Ravensfuri and Duchess Lao Yu, both Lions of An Tir.
Kara moved from An Tir to the Kingdom of the West in the summer of 2006 Gregorian, and ascended the Western Throne to become Uther's Queen on Epiphany, January 6, 2007.
Uther again made her queen in October 2008, and became Duchess by his hand on January 3, 2009. She chose her father's coronet for her duchy ceremony, and carries on his Viking heritage. It is thought that Kara and Lao are the only pair of mother/daughter duchesses in the West.
