Greetings, my name is Tymme "Prodkiller" Lytefelow. I have been in the SCA since 2006. Below is my SCA resume.

Tymme Lytefelow

A Short History

I started in the SCA in 2006. I was drawn in primarily by archery (was taking my wife to archery practice, and one day said I wanted to try it). I have been a Wyewoodian ever since. I have also joined the household of Clan Carn. I have registered my name, badge, and device. I have chosen an English persona from 1290's to early 1300's. I shoot crossbow, which fits into this time period in England (1250’s is when crossbow started to be used in England).

Experience

During the pandemic: • Hosted inter-kingdom archery discussion Zoom sessions (averaging about monthly, still ongoing) • Taught an online class for a Trimaris event • Created SCA archery related videos and started a YouTube channel under Tymme Lytefelow to share them (currently up to 29 videos, with over 1700 total views) • Appeared in a Tavern Archery video discussing crossbow shooting and our kingdom's archery

• Assisting running archery ranges, from Wyewood practices to Crown events, June Fair, Ursulmas, Egils, and others.

• Acknowledged by Aquaterra for helping with archery at Ursulmas 7 years running
• Assisting other branches set up archery ranges at their events
• Being Chief Archer for Wyewood for 2 terms (2010-2014, 2016-present), and deputy to the chief archer prior to that (2007-2010) (running practices, submitting scores, arranging for field maintenance and gear maintenance), was responsible for changing our target butts from dense foam ($45 per half sheet) to Bulldog targets ($99 each, lifetime warranty, $13 for new covers) to keep archery sustainable with reduced expenses
• Entering competitions, including tourneys (June Faire multiple times, Ursulmas multiple times, Honey War, Egil’s, and others) and branch champion competitions (mostly Wyewood, Madrone, Glymm Mere), plus Sept Crown Arcuarius tourney
• Running multiple prize tournaments
• Teaching Junior TAM classes (including teaching a TAM class specifically for Aquaterra sergeantry candidates), also teaching equipment inspection class, new to archery class, how to use the scores site class, arrow maintenance class, arrow making class
• Submitting scores in all non-combat archery proficiencies
• Having a rank of Archer in Open and Longbow, and Grand Master Bowman in Crossbow and Ludicrous Bowman in Period Crossbow

• Assisting with teaching bracer making and quiver making classes

Arts and Sciences

• Made my own leather arrow quiver (tube style), bolt quiver, and Avine de Hert’s bolt quiver
• Made my red Arcuarius leather bracer
• Made and assisted with making arrows
• Made my crossbow bolts (8 to 10 dozen at this point)
• Made sets of crossbow bolts for Avine de Hert, a set for Gwalchwyn ap Gryffyn, a set for Rignach of Argyll, 13 sets for Tristan de Ver, assisted with previous sets for Tristan de Ver to include with his crossbows, a set for Biorn Atlasson, and a set for Rodri Glynglas (a gift) (also for out of Kingdom people in Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and other places)
• Made arrows for multiple people locally, plus for archers in California, Michigan, Maine, and other places
• Made draw length sticks for multiple people and branches in An Tir, 24 for Midrealm, and 10+ for Atenveldt.

Other Service

OGGS Secretary Dec 2018-July 2022

• Supporting candidate discussions, arranging for meeting time/space at events

An Tir Archery Scores Deputy 2015-present

• Managing/updating Kingdom Royal Archer website, including adding score sheets and updating the officers/deputies
• Recreating the OGGS/Arcuarius list from the zateev site, putting it into a new format, adding OP links, and maintaining the list (about 20-30 hrs initially, maintenance time is random)
• Moving the Official Top 10 list over from the zateev site, reformatting, breaking it down by year, and incorporating it into the Archery Scores Site (30+ hours)
• Updating the current year’s Top 10 list regularly (often weekly, or even more frequently during busy times)(approximately 1-2 hrs per week average)
• Entering archived archery scores from spreadsheets into the online scores site so that archers, and the kingdom, have 1 place to see their historic archery scores (entered all scores from 2004-2012, including trying to determine name changes that occurred to make sure scores were entered under the correct person, or adding those who hadn’t shot since the scores site came into use) (over 70 hours of work)
• Merging duplicate archer records so that all of their scores are tied to the correct profile
• Approving scores in a timely manner
• Assisting marshals with access to the site and with getting scores entered if they’re having problems
• Entering scores for some events that I attend, such as June Faire, Archery Fest, and Egil’s to help the MICs
• Created Ludicrous Bowman, Grand Master Bowman list on the online scores site (about 6 hrs)

Website Design 2016-2021

• Designed websites for Wyewood’s Feast of St. Bubba for 3 years (including a custom pre-registration form for the feast that auto emails the head of gate, event steward, and the preson filling out the registration, plus it switches based on feast registrations to automatically identify when registration is full), and for Arts Unframed for 2 years
• Redesigning the Royal Archer website, making it the An Tir Missile website, showing Royal Archer, Thrown Weapons Officer, and Missile Combat as equals, removing many of the archery-centric images, adding thrown weapons deputies, renaming the central, summits, and tir righ deputies to indicate archery central, archery summits, archery tir righ…(3-4 hours)

Provided feedback to Sir John fitz Rauf that helped in establishing new SCA wide rules for crossbow safety.

Event Steward – Day of Archery, Barony of Wyewood

• Designed and built the website, including a custom form for lunch pre-registration
• Arranged for all of the assisting staff (TWM, Combat Archaery Marshal, cook, gate)
• Was event MIC (and archery MIC) for the event
• The event had over 80 attendees and made a profit
• Advertised the event
• Taught Jr. TAM at the event, and arranged for other teachers of other skills

Assisting Others

Assisted Evrard de Valogne with 4+ TAM classes
Provided class material and supported Johann Fairhand in teaching a New to Archery class
Supported Iurii Levchenich in teaching his first TAM class (at an Egil’s)
