Sigridr Eiriskona Also know as Zarabeth "Em" Zarathustra (1985-1994) Zarabeth Lived in the Shire of Dael Beorht (Montrose CO) in the then Principality of Artemisia where she lived with her Parents and three siblings. She was found to be an asset to her Shire and her principality in both service and showing promise in the Arts. Winning youth A&S within her shire, making her Shire proud with strong showings at Kingdom and Principality levels. Her volunteering efforts also did not go unnoticed and these efforts were award with The Order of The Gryphon's Pride by Prince Alan and Princess Anna in 1992 and the next year Zarabeth was Honored still farther by receiving her Award of Arms by the Hands of Their Royal Highnesses Prince Morgan and Princess Rhyndel in 1993. Her Father Floyd Anthony Thomas Smith provided arms and works of beauty in both iron and wood to the populous while her mother found fame as a needleworker. Her older sister and younger brother have been lost to the passage of time while her eldest brother and his sons can still be sighted on battlefields from An Tir to The Outlands. Zarabeth found her inspiration in the Matron of her Household and Shire, Her Excellency Lady Mair of Lou. A tireless and loving woman who could and did single handedly feed and clothe the Shire for many, many, years.
In 1994 Her family moves to the great lands of An Tir and found welcome in the Barony of Terra Pomaria. Sadly not much is known about her or her family during this time. She and her family reunited with their Household from Dael Beorht at the 30 Years War in 1996. Zarabeth fell easily back into the role of helper for her first and greatest inspiration Her Excellency Mair of Lou of Artemisia and was proud to watch her SCA Grandmother receive Her title of Court Baroness at that time.
When we find Zarabeth again she is a young woman, married, having given birth to a daughter and having changed her name.
