Summary

Shichiro has been a part of the Society since 2000, when he and Taðkr ormstunga attended Crimson Sky together as their first event. Originally from the Barony of Three Mountains, he is now located in the Barony of Adiantum.

For a number of years he has been a member of the House of Hormones, who sometimes refer to him as "snow leopard." In 2007, alongside Taðkr ormstunga, Senen meśou-nešed, and Anejiro no Tamiko, Shichiro played a founding role in House Jormungandr.

Persona

Toomachi no Shichiro was the seventh son of his family, as well as a hereditary landowner from Japan's Kanto region during the middle of the Heian period. As a landowner of the period, military service as samurai was but one of the many duties he shared with his brothers.

As mutual interests and family relationships consolidated the Toomachi clan into a provincial military family during the 10th century, they were one of many families who attached themselves to Taira Masakado, a prominant provincial figure and member of the court aristocracy. Taira-dono, however, was known to be impulsive and quick to battle. When he was refused a title from the court, he gathered the neighboring military families, including the Toomachi clan, and lashed out against his local rivals. Success emboldened him to foolishness, however, and he declared himself the new emperor of Japan. The backlash was immediate, and the Toomachi clan were among his followers who suffered greatly in the ensuing Battle of Kojima where he was killed.

Among the survivors were Shichiro and two of his brothers, who found their clan now without a court noble to back.
