On Saturday, 17 November 2012, at Midhaven’s annual Harvest Feast, Lady Avelyn was given her [[Grant of Arms]] and admitted into the Order of the [[Jambe de Lion]] by King Vik and Queen Astrid, although Their Majesties weren't in attendance.  (Court was held by the royal heirs, Crown Prince UlfR and Crown Princess Caoimhe.)
 
On Saturday, November 16, 2013 (A.S. XLVII), Lady Avelyn was inducted into the Shire of Midhaven’s ''Company of the Tulip'', and was thereby named as an ''Honorary Citizen'' of the Shire.

    Lady Avelyn has learned to sew since joining the SCA in the summer of A.S. XLIII (2008). She has had many wonderful teachers in this process and has been learning to recreate period garb for her and her family.
