Yes, the definition is broad, but I believe it is useful nonetheless, as it is something that several An Tirian peers and others use, and does indicate a relationship, albeit a less formal one, than that of a squire/apprentice/protégé/cadet/arcuarius.  It derives its value from the contrast with these more formal relationships.

I was just looking for this page, as [[Associate]] is specific to peers apparently. One of the first examples on that page is used to describe how associates are different from students. I also will adjust the definition, as what I was expecting was not "associate lite", but rather a name to describe formal learning relationships for non-peer orders (OGGS & arcarius, etc.). Well see how that goes.
Also, when adding the deletion nomination tag, leave the current content in place. Thanks! --[[User:Michelino di Gino Martini|Michelino di Gino Martini]] 16:46, 16 September 2015 (UTC)

I think it’s worth keeping.

I was just looking for this page, as Associate is specific to peers apparently.

Thanks! --Michelino di Gino Martini 16:46, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
