Eisenmarche Shire Banquet XL/2006

Being the Report of the Afternoon Court of Their Highnesses Ulf and Amanda, Prince and Princess of Tir Righ. Court held on April 1, 2006 being AS XL at the Shire Banquet and Champions Tourney in the Shire of Eisenmarche.

Her Highness Amanda thanked the Shire of Eisenmarche for inviting Them to the event. His Highness Ulf thanked the Shire for the hospitality, saying He always enjoyed the hall and was looking forward to the banquet this evening.

Her Highness Amanda addressed the populace; She had been gifted with roses earlier in the day, and decided to present them to HL Elanor Wrenn, Ewen and Kerry Le Hay for acts of chivalry on the field. The recipients were asked to present the rose to someone who inspired them.

His Lordship Alexandor Ivor spoke about youth combat activity and today's participants were called forth. Each was presented with a leather sheath from the Shire with a button sewn on indicating they had participated in one youth combat tourney. The winner was Ian, who was presented with a torc from His Highness Ulf.

His Highness Ulf said it's good to see the future of the armies of Tir Righ are in good hands - those who watched these warriors today trembled as we saw what we'll face in tourney tomorrow.

Their Highnesses invested Elanor Wrenn into l'Ordre de l'Etoile d'Argent.

Sir Owain ap Einar was announced as the new Heavy Champion for the shire of Eisenmarche, and it was further announced that this was the third or fourth time Sir Owain has won Eisenmarche's Champions Tourney.

His Lordship Alexandor Ivor asked for the Galleons to join him, and invested Mary Ostler into the Order of the Silver Galleon for her great service on behalf of the Shire. Mary said she had recently became an officer of the Barony of Lions Gate, and it had been her pleasure to serve the Shire.

Her Highness Amanda spoke to the populace about the beads, made from Clinton clay, that the Shire's Seneschal, His Lordship Alexandor Ivor, had presented to Her. Her Highness then called forth Her Ladyship Caitrin ni Cingeadh, Countess Melissa Kendal of Westmoreland, Her Ladyship Elena de Maisnilwarin and Her Ladyship Algae McBeighn (who was not at court) and presented them with Clinton beads for their service to Clinton War.

Genevieve Rozell, the young lady who gave drawings to Her Highness, was thanked by Her Highness Amanda and given a token of Her thanks.

Their Highnesses presented Eisenmarche's seneschal with a basket, and Their thanks for the Shire's contribution to the Principality.

On behalf of Their Majesties Skeggi and Taisiia, Their Highnesses presented Quanthana Outzan with an Award of Arms, dated April 2, AS XXXIX.

On behalf of Their Majesties Uther and Angharad, Their Highnesses presented Drussius Marcellanus with an Award of Arms, dated December 3, AS XL.

On behalf of Their Majesties Uther and Angharad, Their Highnesses presented Diana with an Award of Arms, dated December 3, AS XL.

On behalf of Their Majesties Uther and Angharad, Their Highnesses presented Bear the Conqueror with an Award of Arms, dated December 3, AS XL.

On behalf of Their Majesties Uther and Angharad, Their Highnesses presented Nigel Bard of Swansea with an Award of Arms, dated December 3, AS XL.

Her Highness Amanda asked the populace to please let Them know of worthy gentles that are ready for recognition.

Shire of Eisenmarche Rapier Champion -Lord Richarde Touchet de la Croix, inspired by Her Ladyship Genevieve de Clairveux, was victorious in the rapier lists and was sworn in as Eisenmarche's champion. Lord Richarde thanked Eisenmarche for the sumptuous banquet and for their tourney, and said he'll try to promote rapier in the Shire and proudly wear the reglia.

Her Highness Amanda presented His Highness Ulf with a rose for His chivalry during the heavy tourney.
