Clan MacKelly Internally known as Bàn Faolchú Rosin Dubh (White Wolf Black Rose)

History

Founded by Niall MacKelly (Then Kurobara Nagoya) in 1992, Shire of Perilous Journey (Berlin Germany), Principality of Drachenwald, House Kurobara was formed and maintained until the middle of 1993. As the Household interests and aims shifted it was re-formed into Bàn Faolchú Rosin Dubh. A Scottish Clan, but inclusive of all personas.

Bàn Faolchú Rosin Dubh members participated in Drachenwald through it's transition into the Kingdom of Drachenwald.

When the members of The Shire of Perilous Journey, Kingdom of Drachenwald, were scattered to the winds in October of 1994, Bàn Faolchú Rosin Dubh went dormant for three years.

The reformation of the Household in 1997 did not focus on strictly SCA interests but many Historic pursuits. After several years and only casual attendance in events, the household suffered a tragic loss of it's Matriarch (2001) and struggled to maintain it's self and went dormant again in 2003.

During the great Plague of 2020 to 2021, with large amounts of time the Household was reformed and officially registered as Clan Mac Kelly and it's device. Members of the Household have attended some events in The Barony of Three Mountains and are building friendships.
