[[Mistress]] Catherine Winifred of Tor Bitterroot (aka Sherry Laing) passed away on Sept 17, 2007 according to the University of Washington Daily.  This is sad news for all who knew her.

I am saddened by the news that one of the pillars of the foundation of
An Tir has fallen.  [[Mistress]] [[Baroness]] Catherine Winifred of Tor
Bitterroot, former Black Lion Herald and avid supporter of [[Madrone]] and
more, passed from a seizure on Sept. 17th, 2007.  A picture of her can

There was an article on her in the UW Daily Newspaper and I am working
to get it on-line.

Her name may not be well known by more recent citizens, but her work
still bears fruit for the people she labored to serve.

She was a good friend and I enjoyed seeing her on campus where we both worked.<br>
